Julie Ann Lynch (nee Stevens) of Warrenton, VA died on August 19, 2012 doing what she enjoyed most, bicycling with her husband. She was born on December 10, 1953 in Rock Island, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Hollis Stevens. Julie is survived by her husband, Bob Lynch. She is also survived by her mother, Julia Stevens of Redondo Beach, CA, her children, Nathan Lynch and his wife Nicole of Haymarket, VA, Adam Lynch of Falls Church, VA, Jacob Lynch of Warrenton, VA and Aaron Lynch and his wife Alex of Winchester, VA, her beloved grandchildren Cora, Olivia, Vivienne, Audrey, Rowan and Charlotte, and her 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She earned a B.S. degree in Nursing and a Masters degree in Conflict Resolution. She attended mass at Benedictine Pastoral Center. Among her many contributions to our community, she served Kairos prison ministry, she was Past President of PDRC and a volunteer mediator, she was a volunteer RN at the Fauquier Free Clinic and a past director of RCIA at St. John’s Catholic Church. Most importantly, she was a loving and generous Nana to her 6 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 24 from 3-5 and 6:30-9pm at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, August 25 at 10 am at St. John’s Catholic Church, Warrenton, VA. Interment will be in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA. Reception will follow the interment.
